Eastern Tent Caterpillar (Malacosoma americana   This little guy is provisionally identified as an Eastern Tent Caterpillar due to the white stripe down its back. These are the creatures that make silk tents in the forks of trees, usually relatively high up. They winter in the nests and then come out in the spring and eat the tree leaves and make a mess.
