Harvestman (Liklely Eastern Harvestman)
Harvestmen are relatives of spiders - they are in the same Order. Harvestmen do not have fangs, are not venomous, and do not bite. They have eight long spindly legs, the second pair of which act like antennae and are quite sensitive. This second pair of legs helps Harvestmen to capture prey, smell surrounds, and breathe through holes on the legs called spiracles. Harvestmen will die without the second pair of legs. Their bodies are round rather than segmented. They are typically nocturnal and inhabit forest floor and stone walls.
